Implementation with Tiger Optics at online bank delivers market opportunities across Russia

Good Technology™, the leader in secure mobility, announced today Tinkoff Credit Systems (TCS), the Russian online bank, has implemented Good for Enterprise® to transform their business processes and provide managers access to customer confidential and sensitive information they need while working remotely. The implementation, spearheaded by Good Technology partner Tiger Optics, gives TCS’s management and middle management access to sales information, current yields, customer profiles and other mission critical material, securely from any location.

Stanislav Pavlunin, Head of Security at TCS, said: “Early in 2013, we began re-evaluating our mobility strategy and looked to Good Technology for help. After comparing Good with other offerings and receiving recommendations from other customers leveraging the platform, we decided that Good was the complete flexible mobile solution and could easily lay the foundation for our mobility strategy.”

TCS is Russia’s provider of online financial services. Since bank was founded in 2007, the bank has seen rapid growth to a customer base of over three million, making TCS one of the top three credit card issuers in Russia. As the bank is readying to launch a range of mobile banking services, there was an apparent need for a strong mobile strategy within. The bank is opening new frontiers both internally and in online customer acquisition, through mobile.

Pavlunin added, “The mobility needs of our workforce seemed to increase by the day, but we didn’t want a solution that just managed the actual device – our valuable asset is the data, so that had to be the focus. How could we make it accessible on the move, while also keeping it secure? Good was the perfect answer for us and its partner Tiger Optics has years of industry experience with Russian installations. Tiger Optics was able to deploy Good rapidly across our network with little support required from our IT department.”

Good for Enterprise separatesTCS’s corporate business data and employees’ personal data through a fully encrypted container and prevents corporate data loss by disabling data sharing with other non-secure applications. TCS has been using Good for Enterprise since April 2013, and plans on offering Good Dynamics®, the industry-leading secure application development platform, as a means of creating and using its own mobile enterprise applications.
