Title: Using Voice Dialing with Good Messaging Contacts on Palm OS handhelds

Fact: Voice dialing with Good Messaging contacts is supported using Nuance Voice Control (NVC) on Palm OS handhelds.

The requirements for this feature to work are:

  • NVC version 2.04.00+
  • The �Use Good Messaging Contacts� preference is selected on NVC's Settings screen
  • Good Messaging Sever version 5.0
  • On Good Messaging Console, the Contacts Integration policy setting for the user is selected (checkbox - see image)

Palm OS devices supported for this feature are the Palm Treo handhelds which Good Messaging 5.0 supports.

NVC version 2.04.00 is currently available by going to http://www.nvcnow.com via any Palm OS handheld or by going to http://www.mobilevoicecontrol.com/755_index.aspx via your desktop/laptop browser.

Note:  The �Add Appointment� feature on NVC is currently not supported with Good Messaging today.
