Title: Error 80040968 when accesing user in GMC

We have seen different error messages associated with 80040968. When trying to add a user from within the GoodLink Management Console (GMC), one of the following errors occur:

Symptom: Error:8004968 Creating user firstName lastName with handheld serial # IMSI 31038001513####. Exchange has denied access for Goodlink Management Service logon to the mailbox.

You do not have permission to create a subfolder. MAPI_E_NO_ACCESS

Symptom 2: Error:80040968 Opening user mailbox '/o=companyName/ou=orgUnitName/cn=Recipients/cn=lastName'[lastName, firstName]

Details:Exchange has denied access for GoodLink Management Server service logon the mailbox.

The attempt to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer has failed.

Symptom 3: Error:80040968 opening user mailbox '/o=companyName/ou=orgUnit/cn=Recipients/cn=userName'[lastName, firstName]
Details:Exchange has denied access for GoodLink Management Server service logon the mailbox.
You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object.

Symptom 4: Error 80040968: GMC api call failed and details exchange has denied access for gmc server service - logon to the mailbox

Cause: The domain account used is having trouble communicating with Exchange.

Remedy: Here are some tasks to perform:

1. Verify the Goodadmin's permission have properly replicated down to the Exchange Server and Mail Store level. Manually adding the GoodAdmin account to those levels can resolve the issue too.

2. Uninstall and Reinstall of GMS resolved issue.

3. Reboot/restart Exchange server.

4. Remove Goodadmin from Admin group.
